Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SongGift (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What we do

SongGift creates original songs using artificial intelligence based on the description ("brief") you provide. You can listen to a free preview. If you choose to purchase, you receive downloadable audio files, lyrics and cover art for that song.

2. Payments

Purchases are processed by our merchant of record, Polar Software Inc. ("Polar"), which handles payment, taxes and invoicing. Prices are shown before checkout. Polar's own terms apply to the payment transaction.

3. Your brief

You are responsible for the content of your brief. Do not include content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual involving minors, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others, including using the names or lyrics of real artists or copyrighted songs. We may refuse or remove generations that violate this. You confirm you have the right to share any personal details about other people that you include.

4. AI-generated content

Songs are generated by AI models and can occasionally contain errors, mispronunciations or unexpected content. Output is not guaranteed to be unique. Copyright protection for AI-generated works varies by jurisdiction and is not guaranteed. See our Licence page for what you may do with your song.

5. Free previews and fair use

Previews are limited per person per day to keep the Service free to try. Automated or bulk use is prohibited.

6. Delivery and storage

Purchased songs are available on your order page and by email. We keep purchased files available for at least 12 months. Unpurchased previews are deleted after 14 days.

7. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. In short: if the song is broken or clearly not what you asked for, we fix it or refund it.

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
